The National Casket Retailer's Association Ž An Organization founded in 1997 dedicated to lawfully oppose anti competitive activity by the funeral industry. Its members are retail casket store owners from all the states and Canada. The mission statement is to provide consumer education, keep abreast of the ever changing trends in the casket retail business and laws which affect this industry. The NCRA was granted a (501 a (c) 6) non-profit status organization, from the IRS. Officers of the NCRA receive no compensation, as all funds collected are used in preparation to combat , oppose, publicize & uncover any anti competitive activity by any funeral homes and death care industry suppliers or personnel.
