A one question poll was on the front page of NCRA site for nearly two months - here are the results about the FTC funeral review
Our site has many visitors that are "in the field" that would have seen and voted the poll. That brings up the votes of those "maybe" and that "had no clue".
It is fair to assume that many in the field voted, that were visitors. It is a logical deduction - for the votes, of at least 50% though, it COULD have been more. Out of the 378 votes (at FTC deadline for submitting comments 8/11/99 time) if 1/2 of the positive AND negative votes or so (and it IS great odds it was AT LEAST that many from the casket stores and funeral directors that voted there)are taken away from the yes and no choices - that left votes from the "general population" in higher numbers. Those that need to be weary of schemes.
But those other two categories, the Yes response would be reduced to =82 votes (1/2 taken off) and the no vote response reduced =96 for total of 212 (then) votes.

THEN THOSE no clues and maybe votes ( of 34) would work out to be SIXTEEN (16) percent of the general voters THAT had no clue or didn't know.
That leaves a wide area for abuse, scams and sales tactics by greedy sales-personal.
Start talking and learning about "Saying Good Bye" so it is not as costly both in dollars and stress. Please read through our site for many pages of information.
